Yoyogi is one of 3 Japanese joints at 33 Mohd Sultan Road. That area is slowly turning into a mini Japan, with about 10 or so Japanese food joints.
Sorry, didn't expect to go there for lunch so ... no camera. Sigh, must bring camera all the time next time.
Anyway, their set lunches range from about S$11-$20, mostly about $16-18. I had the Yoyogi Bento which had:
- 8 slices of sashimi (maguro, sake, mackeral, prawns)
- grilled unagi (small 6x6 cm) and saba (6x6cm)
- 3 deep fried prawns
- rice
Quite good for $19.50+++. My colleague ordered Sashimi and Tempura set for the same price.
Also had their special Green Tea Icecream and Coffee (fresh) for $2.50+++
Recommended.
MSG? Yes, depending on what you order (hard to avoid at Jap joints)
